The 93rd Minute

Forgetting the current runaway status of Manchester United at top of the premier league table for a minute, let’s look on to next season.  This is the second season that’s seen an all-Manchester affair at the top of the table.  Although City is not assured a second-place spot, it will certainly take a surge from Tottenham to boot them from it.  I think I’m in good company when I express boredom with the last two seasons’ relative strength of two clubs compared to other traditional powerhouses; I’m looking at you Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.  With the past weekends results and some teams coming on strong to finish the season, can we expect some more competition for the premier league title in 2014?
