UEFA Champions League preview – Bayern Munich v Arsenal – 13/03/13
Last year’s losing finalists Bayern Munich look set to qualify for the Champions League quarter finals for the fourth time in five years, thanks to a 3-1 first leg lead over Arsenal.
Bayern currently lead the Bundesliga by 20 points, and need just three wins from nine to win the title ahead to Borussia Dortmund, who have won the league for the last two years. On the contrary, Arsenal are five points behind Chelsea who currently hold the Premier League’s fourth place spot.
Arsene Wenger’s side has lost at this stage of the UEFA Champions League for the last two seasons, with defeat to AC Milan and Barcelona.
