No time to Swan around, we need a win!
‘Never underestimate the importance of playing at home’. I can’t remember who said that, I think it might even have been me, but never have truer words been spoken. Saturday’s game sees Arsenal return to the home of expensive food, plush seating and manicured grass. Of course, the herd of Swansea fans who arrive at the Emirates will appreciate the fine quality of our grass (no, not like that!), as their team love to play the sort of quick and incisive football which has deserted us in recent weeks. So for a game of this importance we have drafted in another Arsenal fan to provide us with his angle on the match. The club is moving forward.
It’s Friday, finally, when Arsenal are in bad form all I want is our next game, and to get back to winning ways, but in the past few performances they’ve deprived me of that, so I really fudging hope this weekend we stop messing about, and show some courage.
Pundits assumed Swansea would be hit with the second-season syndrome, but how they were wrong, kinda. They sit 8th in the league, only a point behind us, so this game is a must win no matter what, there missing Pablo Hernandez, one of their top players, yet we have Kos the boss and Sagna out, so it all evens out.
I’m guessing Wenger won’t change the line up from Wednesday except Poldi for Ramsey on the wing, and as we all know it’s gonna be another half-hearted performance, as no players are getting a rest. What I hope for is that…
